Shadows Stitch

The shadows stitch is made by hand on the frame with very small, regular stitches crossing on the reverse of the drawing, thus obtaining a relief effect on the front. This embroidery is usually suitable to lightweight fabrics - organdy, linen flax, fine batiste – for the making of precious tablecloths, placemats, christening gowns, baby crib linens, fine handkerchiefs.
